The IPSASB has issued a Mid-Period Work Program Consultation for public comment.
The consultation takes place at the midpoint of the IPSASB’s 2019-2023 Strategy and Work Plan, as several projects are expected to be completed during 2022 and 2023. Once these projects are completed, the IPSASB expects Board and staff resources to become available, allowing the IPSASB to add projects to its Work Program.
The consultation document states that the IPSASB has capacity to add 2 major projects and 4 minor projects to its agenda, and it recommends projects to be added based on the IPSASB’s evaluation of project prioritization criteria. The IPSASB wants feedback from stakeholders on the major and minor projects proposed, and whether there are any projects that should be considered as substitutes.
PSAB encourages stakeholders to send comments to the IPSASB until November 30, 2021.
