Role & Responsibilities
The role and responsibilities of the AASB Steering Committee includes the following:
- enhancing the speed and effectiveness of AASB operations;
- counseling and advising staff on activities and projects between AASB meetings or when matters clearly do not require discussion at AASB meetings;
- identifying and responding to the need for change to AASB’s working procedures and practices, other than changes that would require a revision of the Due Process Manual.
Meetings
The Steering Committee meets two weeks prior to each AASB meeting and/or conference call.
Membership
The Committee consists of:
- a subset of AASB members, including the Chair of the AASB.
