Martin graduated from Montreal’s École des Hautes Études Commerciales with a Bachelor of Business Administration and has a Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting. He earned his CPA in 2001.
Martin Boucher is a partner in the National Accounting Consulting Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he provides technical accounting guidance to clients in the private and public sectors. He has over 25 years of experience providing specialized expertise in financial reporting to clients, as well as PwC external audit teams across Canada. In that context, Martin researches and consults on complex accounting or interpretations of accounting guidance in the IFRS® Accounting Standards and the CPA Canada Public Sector Accounting (PSA) Handbook.
Martin joined the Public Sector Accounting Discussion Group in 2015 before becoming its Chair from 2020 to 2023. Martin is also a regular speaker on PSA topics at various events, including the CPA Canada Public Sector Conference.
He graduated from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal in Quebec with a bachelor of business administration, and has a graduate diploma in public accounting.
