Catherine Isabelle is Senior Director, Sustainability and Climate Innovation at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). She joined the organization in October 2015 where she played a key role in ensuring continued effectiveness of deal execution on the legal side. Catherine joined the Sustainability and Climate Innovation group in 2020 where she leads various initiatives to drive sustainability and foster climate innovation, including all reporting activities. She advises PSP Investments’ groups, senior management, and the Board of Directors on sustainability and climate matters.
Catherine has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles at financial institutions. Prior to joining PSP Investments, she practiced law at a top tier law firm based in Montreal with a specialty in M&A, corporate governance, and securities law matters. She has extensive investment-focused, legal and sustainability experience in providing strategic advice regarding corporate transactions across jurisdictions and industries as well as disclosure obligations.
Catherine holds a Law Degree (L.L.B) from Laval University and is a member of the Quebec Bar. She also serves on the Board of the Food Banks of Quebec.
