Paul Hargreaves

Paul Hargreaves has over 20 years of experience as a preparer of not-for-profit financial statements. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Courthouse Libraries BC, a private law library network with 30 branches in courthouses throughout British Columbia. Before this he worked for the BC Dairy Association, a member-benefit organization advancing the interests of dairy producers. He also has not-for-profit governance experience with a variety of entities involved in child care, youth outreach, agriculture research, and community recreation.

Standards for not-for-profit financial reporting have engaged Paul's interests for the past decade. From 2014-2020 he served as a member of the Accounting Standards Board and re-joined as a Board member in 2024. He has been a member of the Joint Task Force for Not-for-Profit Financial Reporting and Chair of the Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee. In 2016 he was recognized by the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia for his service to the profession.
