Margaret Tang

Margaret is a Partner in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance group. She has more than 20 years of experience in the finance services sector, with a focus on insurance and securities companies.

Margaret has extensive experience leading and managing public company audits, including with worldwide oversight and coordination, complex accounting and auditing matters, and securities filings with Canadian and U.S. regulators.

In addition to client service roles, Margaret holds various quality assurance roles within Deloitte and facilitates internal training on key developments in the insurance industry, accounting and auditing standards, and guidance on internal controls. She has also been active in assisting clients with the adoption of new IFRS® Accounting Standards and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.

Margaret holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Schulich School of Business at York University, as well as CPA, CA and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
