Performance Review Committee
AASOC’s role includes overseeing and evaluating the performance of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB). AASOC also provides input on whether the AASB’s activities meet Canada’s audit and assurance needs. The Performance Review Committee was established to support AASOC in determining if the AASB achieves its annual and strategic objectives.
Nominating and Governance Committee
Appointments to AASOC and the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board are made by AASOC following recommendations from its Nominating and Governance Committee. This Committee’s members who comprise a wide variety of Canadian business leaders to help ensure appropriate and balanced representation.
