Jonathan is currently a partner at BDO Canada and acts as the designated Technical Leader for the offices of Eastern Canada. His role includes being a technical resource for assurance teams dealing with complex audit and accounting issues, giving training to the Accounting and Assurance department, and reviewing financial statements and consultations prepared by the engagement teams.
Jonathan is also one of the designated regulatory reviewers in Canada, supporting engagement teams on regulatory matters in the context of prospectus and other filing requirements, as well as assistance to underwriters and more.
Furthermore, Jonathan acts as Engagement Quality Control Reviewer in audit and review engagements, for both private and public companies in various industries such as manufacturing, insurance, retail, First Nations, and natural resources.
