Barbara Maynard

Barbara Maynard is a partner in KPMG’s National Department of Professional Practice. She has over 20 years of experience with the interpretation and application of assurance standards and is currently responsible for leading the firm’s efforts to evolve its quality controls into a proactive system of quality management.

Prior to returning to KPMG in 2019, Barbara was a Senior Director with Canada’s national audit regulator, the Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB).  While in that role, she served as a representative of CPAB at meetings of the International Forum of Independent Auditor Regulators (IFIAR) and was a member of IFIAR’s Global Audit Quality Working Group for more than 8 years.
