Audrey Mercier is a partner at Richter and leads the Professional Practice Group, with responsibility for quality control, audit methodology, and continuing education within the firm. With extensive knowledge of Canadian, U.S., and international accounting and auditing standards, Audrey manages complex mandates for mid-size entrepreneurial clients in the areas of audit, financial reporting, and litigation and arbitration.
Over the years, Audrey has participated in various tasks forces with the Ordre des CPA du Québec and has proven her rigor and strong technical abilities. She is currently a member of the Committee for CPAs in Public Practice, having previously served as its Chair for two years. She is also a member of both the IFRS and the ASPE financial accounting working groups, as well as an author and a facilitator for the Order’s Continuing Education program.
Audrey is a graduate of Concordia University and obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA auditor) designation in 2007. She has since acquired her Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential, and is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
